Our first and main service is “Trouble Shooter” or elimination problems. If a crane fails, if the marine vessel does not operate as should be, if some object has to be transported (via land, sea or air), certifications are needed but the ship is not at a port, the ship is aground, stowage problems, fires including on oil tanker (I attended the fire on the m.v Atlantic Empress, with 293.000 of crude oil based on which new strategies were developed) etc. Call us to solve the problem in a legal way, safely and within a reasonable cost. Any lifting devices of any quantity needs to be surveyed and certified, we do it all. Starting from periodic surveys, annual surveys or 4 or 5-year surveys. We do the survey and we can test it by NDT (non-destructive testing, several methods), load test, operational testing, brake testing. We use waterbags for lower quantities and we can use barges for larger quantities. This any time and any place. Also, offshore if the conditions are right.

For lifeboats and rescue boat as well small davits we use the sausage waterbags. The capacity at this moment is 9.200 kg. but larger quantities can be arranged if advise on time.

We can use any approved norms such as the EU norms, ASME B30, API 2C etc. with local or company norms.

Also lifting and traction devices on shore can be surveyed and certified such as bulldozers, excavators, high reach platforms, etc.

The service of Maritime expediting is flexible in type and scope in order to monitor and report, adjusting to satisfy the needs of the clients and methods of operation. We provide complete or partial assistance to control special problematic areas as required by the client. Our services can be adapted to any type of operation and need.

Not only life boats, rescue boats and their davits or cranes but also survival suits, EEBA,
air compressors and BA cylinders including the hydrostatic test. Life vests, medical O2 cylinders including refills. On life boats, rescue boats and davits or cranes we do the basic service. Repairs and maintenance can be arranged depending the scope. Inventories will be checked and service given. Supplies can be arranged if ordered on time.

As by item 2, we can carry out the full service starting with a survey, services, light repairs or maintenance to the load test with own equipment, water bags and dynamometers and certification. For certifications we work as CRALOG A/S by which most approvals are obtained. Occasionally we use custom made approvals sometimes on a job basis approval.

Evaluation and damage surveys to ships and (Maritime) installations are services done by competent persons in order to obtain the right information for the client to make their decisions.

Also, container survey and certification are included, any size and type.

All kind of tanks can be inspected. Either visual or with NDT and hydrostatic testing. Such as tanks for petroleum products but also water tanks, gas tanks, etc. of any size. This can be done under the API and AWS rules. Lines can be included in the survey. The inspection can be preliminary, on the outside and later on, also the inside and especially the floor which will be checked for leaks.

If a preliminary tank inspection is made on time, the maintenance of the tank can be better coordinated.

We can survey petroleum and its derivates, shipments based on the API, ASTM norms and norms set by the client. Either to determine the quantity and quality or to protect the client’s interest.

We can attend if necessary, especially for loss control, inventories or legal issues. This also includes other liquids like lube oils, jet fuel, etc.

We can survey and calibrate instruments depending its maker. Dynamometer we do calibrate or issue a certificate of calibration, gas detectors, torque wrenches, MMC’s, etc.

We do magnetic compass adjustment as well as service, supply of spares and repairs. This at any time and since we made a preliminary adjustment, the final adjustment can be done very quickly, about 60 minutes for large ships. The deviation card is made onboard if there is time or later on and forwarded by internet of via the agent.

We also can offer this service by internet in which case we need one officer of the vessel who will follow our instruction. The information is exchanged by WhatsApp or internet. It can be done any time and different courses at different times.

We deliver for each survey a written report in (UK) English, Dutch or International Spanish or both upon request.
